The Airship Club Wichita Falls LLC
I am building an airship, and plan to build more. To fund these projects, I translate books from German to English, and have them available on Amazon. I also can do engineering design work for you.
Books:
Knights of the Air Back in the 1920's Rolf Marben interviewed many surviving WW1 airship veterans from the German Imperial Navy. Their stories are translated in this book. Here's a teaser of what is contained. He also included a story of a zeppelin that went down at sea, that was only known about by the letters the crew wrote and put in bottles. I have added cultural and technical commentaries, along with maps to help modern audiences understand the stories better. It is available in hardback, paperback, and as an e-book.
In Naval Zeppelin Against England In 1917, the Imperial German government commissioned a book written by one of their zeppelin commanders, to share with their population what it was like serving on a zeppelin and how effective they were. The book was published only in German speaking countries, which included a large portion of the USA at the time. This book has never been published in English, and this is the first translation. It has some excellent airship stories, provides some good insight to the minds of Imperial Germany during the world war. One story included in Knights of the Air, tells of a zeppelin that crashed landed at sea, and who's fate was only known due to messages found in bottles. This book includes reproductions of those letters. I have added some cultural and technical commentaries, along with maps to help modern audiences understand the stories better. It is available in hardback, paperback, and as an e-book.
Africa At Our Feet This book is a first hand account written by two of the three surviving members of the L59 German East Africa resupply mission. I have translated 63 out of 119 pages. I look forward to releasing this when it is completed.
More titles coming soon!
Engineering Design:
I have been a licensed engineer in the state of Texas since 2014. I have been doing Engineering Design work since 2008. If you need or want help with a design, I can do the following:
Create Engineering Drawings
Create 3D models
FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
Engineering Calculations to Prove your design
Who is Madison Hasson?
I am an airship enthusiast with a degree in mechanical engineering. I have been working as an engineer since 2008. I also studied German for 4.5 years and lived in Germany for 2 years. This has provided valuable insight into German culture that I share in the books I translate. I am translating books to raise money to build airships. Instead of chasing down investors for huge sums of money, I creating a revenue stream by selling books, using that revenue and my engineering experience to build airships for much less than the other airship manufacturers. Airships need not cost millions of dollars to build. I will prove it can be done for tens of thousands, by doing it for tens of thousands.
